Building on the updated Naturally Aspirated Kiger range introduced in November 2025, the new Kiger Turbo steps forward with enhancements you can see and feel, all anchored by Renault’s philosophy of attainable innovation.

The new Kiger Turbo delivers serious punch for real South African roads – harnessing a responsive 1.0‑litre turbocharged petrol engine pushing out up to 74 kW and 160 Nm. Whether paired with a 5‑speed manual or smooth X‑Tronic CVT, the Kiger’s turbo powertrain gives you confident, effortless performance. Upper trims further elevate the experience with Multi‑Sense drive modes, letting you switch between Eco, Normal and Sport to match your mood and terrain.

The enhanced tech suite includes practical, lifestyle‑friendly additions such as hands‑free key card access, remote engine start, Belongings Reminder and Take‑a‑Break reminders, keeping the Kiger Turbo feeling modern and effortless to use.
Safety is strengthened too, with up to 21 standard safety features across the lineup, including ABS with EBD, TPMS, ISOFIX and available ESC, TCS and six airbags.
Range Details & Trims
South Africa will introduce the new Kiger Turbo in two trims:
Kiger Turbo Techno: Adds Tri‑Octa LED headlamps, dual tone interior, wireless smartphone replication, Smart Access Card.
Kiger Turbo Iconic: ventilated leatherette seats, auto AC, multiview camera, drive modes, 16‑inch Evasion diamond‑cut alloys, auto lights/wipers.Both trims continue to have an 8‑inch touchscreen with smartphone replication, rear camera and rear AC vents.
The model is also available in six attractive colour palettes, including a new addition Autumn Yellow, Grey, Red alongside existing options: Blue, White and Silver.
The KIGER model range offers complete peace of mind with a standard 5-year/ 150 000km mechanical warranty and a 2-year/ 30 000km service plan, with optional extensions available through Renault dealers nationwide.
